Police early Saturday arrested Tanzin Rahman, mother of the two minor siblings whose throat-slit bodies were found in the city’s Basabo area on Friday night, in connection with the murder. Officer-in-charge of Sabujbagh Police Station Abdul Kuddus Fakir said a team of police conducted a drive in Sabujbagh area of the city and arrested Tanzin at about 4:00am. Earlier, the throat-slit bodies of Mashrafi Bin Mahbub Abrar, 7, son of Mahbubur Rahman, and his (Abrar) sister Humaira Binte Mahbub Takia were found in their house in Basabo area on Friday night. — Dhaka, Aug 13 (UNB)
