A mid -aged woman was killed by her son-in-law Md. Rubel Thursday .
Following the family fe ud, mother -in-law Bibi Hajera was killed by the family members of the son-in-law by indiscriminate beatings at latter’s residence at Unsattarpara village of Raozan Pahartali area in Chittagong on Thursday.
In connection with the tragic death of Hajera Bibi , son of the deceased filed a murder case before the concerned thana police authority accusing 10/12 persons including son-in-law Rubel . Rubel and his family members is now absconding after the incident occurred.
Centring the killing, commotion and panic is prevailing in the area and people irrespective of caste and creed demanded exemplary punishment of the killer. Family sources said critically injured Bibi Hajera expired on way to nearby Pioneer Clinic of Noapara at 11 pm on Thursday .
Police recovered the body of the deceased at early morning of Friday and sent to morgue for autopsy.
The accused in the murder case are-Son-in-law Rubel, his brother Rasel, mother Nurjahan, sisters Popi Akhter, Kusum Akhter, Momtaz, Azizullah, Mofiz and others unidentified.
