Having lost all patience and being tried to the extreme, at last a mother named Halima Begum handed over her drug addict and lunatic son to Sadar Model Thana Policemen.
Locals extended co-operation to the helpless mother to surrender drug addict son to Police for justice.
The son’s name is Tajul Islam Gazi (30), eldest son of late Afajuddin Gazi, a resident of Gazibari from Monohorkhadi village under Bishnupur union in Chandpur Sadar Upazila.
Halima has said, she has two sons and one daughter. Her second son works in Dhaka and only daughter lives with her at home. Tajul is so serious about drug that day after day, he has turned too much lunatic and often has no mental balance.
If he is not given money to buy drugs, at his sweet will, he vandalises valuables in the house and turns more angry , more mad and lunatic and wants to attack / hack us with dao or sharp weapon like scythe.
Many times we saved ourselves from his attack. So we have to remain in constant panic about his possible attack.
Even the neighbours and locals are also in constant panic about his movement and possible attack with dao or any sharp weapon.
On Sunday afternoon , Tajul wanted to attack and hack his mother and sister with sharp weapons .
Then, being helpless and fed up, we have tied him from behind and brought him to Sadar Model Thana Police with the help of the local people on Sunday afternoon. Sadar Model Thana OC Md Nasimuddin has sent Tajul to Chandpur General Hospital for admission under Police escort. After recovery, legal action will be taken against him-said he.
