Staff Reporter :A woman and her daughter were hacked to death by unidentified assailants in a house at Pabur village under Kapasia upazila in Gazipur district in the early hours of Tuesday.The victims were identified as Surya Banu, 75, and Mafia Akhter, 50,Quoting the victims’ relatives, Kapasia Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ahsan Ullah said that the relative of the victims found the blood-ridden bodies at their house and informed the police early in the morning.Police recovered the bodies from the house following information, the police official said. The bodies, which bore injury marks, were sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, the OC said. The incident might have committed over family feud, he said. A case had been filed in this connection, the police official added.
