Police recovered the bodies of a woman and her daughter from their living room at Kanggaliapara village in Rajibpur upazila on Thursday.
Police said Nazma Begum, 35, and her daughter Josna, 13, residents of the village, went to bed after having dinner on Wednesday night.
However, locals informed police after they did not find any response from the house in the morning, said officer-in-charge of Rajibpur Police Station Prithis Kumar Sarkar.
However, the reasons behind the unnatural death of the duo are yet to be identified, the OC added.
