UNB, Brahmanbaria :
A woman allegedly committed suicide after killing her two children following a family feud in Medda Pirbari area in the district town on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Nargis,35, her son Saki,5 and daughter Tarin,8.
Police said Nargis used quarrel with her husband Selim Miah over his extra-marital affair.
The couple locked into altercation over the same issue on Thursday night. Family members found the mother and the two children dead in the house on Friday morning and informed police. Selim Miah went into hiding following the incident.
Police suspected that Nargis might have mixed poison with their meal at night. She took the poison-mixed food and fed it to her two children in a bid to commit suicide. Police recovered the bodies and sent those of hospital morgue for autopsy. Superintendent of police Md Moniruzzaman visited the spot.
