BPJA election: Mostafa President, Kazol Secretary

Gulam Mostafa of Daily Nawroj and Kazol Hazra of the Daily Samakal have been elected as President and General Secretary of Bangladesh Photo Journalists’ Association (BPJA) respectively for the tearn of two years.
Chief Election Commissioner
Shopon Das Gupta announced the election result at about 6pm on Thursday.
The election started at 10am and ended at 4pm without any interval.
The other office bearers are Vice-Presidents Anisur Rahman of The Daily Star and Yasin Babul, Joint-Secretaries Mizanur Rahman of Bangladesher Khabar and Sheikh Hasan of Kaler Kontho, Treasurer Nasim Sikder of the Naya Diganta, Organising Secretary Mobaraque Hossain of the Daily Morning Post, Cultural Secretary Lutfar Rahman of Kaler Kontho, Office Secretary Aziz Faruqui of the Daily Songram and Publicity Secretary Shahadat Parvez of the Daily Amar Din.
The Executive members are Sheikh Enamul Haque of the Daily Star, Mahbub Hossain Nabin of the Daily Samakal, Moin Uddin Ahmed of The New Nation, Motiur Rahman Sentu of the Daily Inquilab, Masud Parvez Milon of Bangladesh News, Saiful Islam of the Daily Ittefaq, Ataur Rahman Babu of newsroomphoto.com, Md Aminul Islam of the Daily Tribunal, Elias Mahmud of the Daily Janokontho and Bivas Dikkhit Biplob of Jagonews.com.
