Deputy Commissioner of Chattogram Md Elias Hossain distributed mosquito eradication equipment and medicines to UNOs of different upazilas in Chattogram district at Circuit House on Friday.
Noted industrial group of Chattogram S Alam Group donated these medicines and equipment, sources said.
During distribution program, Deputy commissioner said public awareness is the major equipments to eradicate mosquitoes than the medicines.
He called upon the city residents to keep clean of their premises to avoid aedes breeding.
Deputy Director of Local Government Department Yasmeen Parvin Tirbizi, Addl. Deputy Commissioner Delwar Hossain, ADC(General) Kamal Hossain, representative of Salam Group Akiz Uddin were present on the occasion.
