LGRD & Cooperatives Minister Engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain said here yesterday that the present government in a very planned way heading towards progress and prosperity.
Mosharraf while inaugurating a bituminous road construction at Muraridah bazar under Sadar upazilla said that the prime need of the progress is good communication net work and in that field this area is well ahead and added that within next two years there will be no non-metalic road in greater Faridpur area. He also said we have achieved enormous success in production of electricity from different sources and we hope that every house of the country will get electricity facilities within next three years.
The inaugural function was chaired by Kaizuri union chairman Kh. Iftekhar Hossain Iku while LGED Chief Engineer Shyma Prashad Adhikari was the special guest.
The function was also addressed among others by police super Md. Jamil Hassan, ADC(Gen) Md. Abdur Rashid, Sadar upazilla chairman Kh. Mohtesham Hossain Babor and local Awami League and BCL leaders.
