Mosaddek Hossain, who is so far successful at No. 7 position, a highly risky place for Bangladeshi batsman, said his hard work to improve his strike rate and mental state, paid off to thrive in this position.
He also revealed that he is keen to continue his improvement in the upcoming three-match ODI series in Sri Lanka too.
“Before the World Cup and also during the Dhaka Premier League, I was totally focused on improving my strike rate,” he told the reporters at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Thursday.
“To bat on this position, it is imperative to adjust all types of situation. Here you may get 15 overs and you need to anchor the innings and at the same time you have attack towards the death, which is complicated task.
