Mosaddek to play BPL from beginning

All-rounder Mosaddek Hossain will play for Dhaka Dynamites in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) from the very beginning.
Reigning champions Dhaka Dynamites will take on Sylhet Sixers in the opening match of the BPL at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on November 4.
Mosaddek is now totally okay after recovery from illness of his eye. Hossain will take part in the practice session today at Mirpur.
He took part in the match against India in the ICC Champions Trophy. He was in the Tigers’ squad against Australia in the home series. But he could not participate against Australia in the Test series due to injury of his eye.
He was scheduled to play in the South Africa series. But he could not take part in that series due to problem of his eye. Later, He was sent to Thailand for better treatment. After returning home from Thailand, he had been taking rest for a month.
Mohammad Shahid and Mehedi Maruf are teammates of Mosaddek. Last year Hossain played a key role for Dhaka Dynamites to clinch the BPL title. He scored 304 runs playing 13 innings.
He said to the newsmen, ” There is no problem in my eye. Hoping that I shall again play cricket through BPL. I am taking part in the practice session alone for 15 days. Today I shall participate in the full-fledged practice session with my teammates.”
He said, ” Last year I contribute for Dhaka Dynamites to clinch the BPL title. I hope that I shall also perform well in this year. Our recruitment (foreign players & local players) is satisfactory. I expect that we shall be the champions of this years BPL.”
