The Mortein anti-dengue campaign kicked off with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between Reckitt Benckiser Bangladesh and ICDDR,B recently.
The main objective of the campaign is to fight against the dengue and its render its remedy.
Under this MoU, Mortein will make a 10 percent donation from the 3-month sales proceeds of its selected Pest Control Products in Agora, Meenabazar and Shwapno to fund research project led by ICDDR,B that aims to identify the primary symptoms of dengue in its early stages and enable physicians to better fight the diseases.
Mahbub Baset, Marketing Director of RB and Professor John D Clemeans, Executive Director of ICDDR,B led the sign-off ceremony, Faija Ansari, HR Director, Jude Martino, Marketing Manager of Pest Control, Adiba Tasmeem, Brand Manager of Mortein and Salahuuddin Ahmed, Head of Modern Trade and Channel Development were present on behalf of RB.
Graham Judd, Director Communication and Development, Nasmeen Ahmed, Senior Manager, Communication and Development Dr Firoj Ahmed, Associate Scientist, Clinical Laboratories and Dr Anowar Hossain, Head of Laboratories Operation Management were present on the occasion on behalf of ICDDR,B, a world renowned international health research organisation based in Bangladesh.
