Md. Morshedul Islam, Principal and Managing Director, European Standard School (ESS), and GM Nizam Uddin, Principal Head of School, Cardiff International School Dhaka (CISD), have been elected President and Secretary General respectively of Bangladesh English Medium School Association (BEMSA).
They were elected at a general meeting of the association held at its office at Dhanmondi in the city recently.
The meeting unanimously formed the nine-member executive committee of the association with Riffat Ahmed, Chairperson of Siddiqui’s International School, as its treasurer.
Other members of the committee are Abdullah, Chairman, European Standard School, Md. Kutubuddin, Director, Academia, Nahed Arifa Alam, Siddiqui’s International School, Farhana Zaman, Sir John Wilson School, Anjum Hossain, Principal, Summerfield School and Asiruddin, Junior Laboratory School.
