A science based seminar on Homeopathy medicine and its proper use titled ‘Homeopathic patent, tonic, Ointment, Injection , mixed drugs & present Perspective’ was held at Chattogsram Science Parishad hall in the port city as arranged by Bangladesh Homoeopathic Parishad with its district unit President Prof. Dr. Devabratha Bhattachariya in the chair.
Central President of the BAHOP Principal Dr Abdul Karim graced the seminar as Chief Guest. The speakers in the seminar said Homeopathy is a natural medical science . With Homeopathy treatment medicine is applied to a patient asper Dr. Honneyman ‘s formulated principles where ‘Similia Simibus Currenter’ is the most important, speakers said.
It is based on Organon of Medicine of Homeopathy academic curriculum. According to organon of Homeopathy, there is no place for patent, tonic, ointment, injection and mixed drugs in the Homeo system of medicine treatment.
The speakers in it said Pharmacopia is not a basic academic book rather there is need to study Organon, Meterica Medica and Repertory. Former divisional govt representative of BHB Dr. Saleh Ahmed Suleman was the principal speaker in it. Central Secretary General of BAHOP Dr. Anjan Kumar Das presented the keynote papers in the seminar.
Vice -President of BAHOP, chattogram Unit Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, Alhaj Dr. SM Saleh Jahangir, Dr. Sadhan Chandra Pal, Dr. SM Rabiul Hossain, Ln. Dr. Pranab Ranjan Biswas, Dr. Sakina Akhter Lucky, Dr. Md. Mohsin, Dr. Ratan Kumar Banik, Advisor Principal Dr. PC Saha, Dr. MA Bashar, Dr Mahtab Hossain attended the seminar as special guests moderated by District Secretary Dr. Md. Enamul Hoque. The seminar also demanded some modifications in the recently passed Bangladesh Homeopathic Treatment Act-2019.
