BSS, Dhaka :Social Welfare Minister Syed Mohsin Ali said more people will be brought under the coverage of social safety net.To materialize the goal, the number of beneficiaries of different allowances under social safety net programs also will be raised.The minister came up with the assurance while speaking as chief guest at a seminar at Dhaka Reporters Unity in the capital on Thursday.Being a disaster prone country Bangladesh’s coastal belt is frequently attacked by natural disasters like cyclone and flood, the minister said adding about three thousand cyclone shelters have already been built to save valuable lives in this region.Pakkhik Abasar organized the programme with Alhajj Fazlul Karim, organizing secretary of the central committee of Bangladesh Human Rights Bureau, in the chair.
