Speakers at a post-budget function here on Thursday stressed the need for more budgetary allocation in all essential sectors including health, education and agriculture.
“An emphasis should be given to search the well off persons and to bring them under new tax network in a bid to increase the revenue income and to utilize it for the welfare of the country”, they said.
They said this while addressing a post budget discussion meeting with the journalists at Sinnomul Mohila Samity (SMS) here.
Campaign for Good Governance, a NGO, district committee, arranged the function as part of the programmes with different professional groups.
