Bangladeshi company Moonstar Fashion Limited is going to establish a readymade garments industry at a cost of US$ 20.20 million in Mongla Export Processing Zone.
An agreement to this effect has signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and Moonstar Fashion Limited in Dhaka on Wednesday at BEPZA Complex. Sayed Nurul Islam, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and SM Amzad Hossain, Managing Director of Moonstar Fashion has signed the agreement.
This local venture will produce annually 30.66 million pcs Under Wear, 7.55 million pcs Boxer Short, 15.10 million pcs Intimate Garments and 11.33 million pcs Swimming & Active Wear. 2832
Major General Mohd. Habibur Rahman Khan, ndc, psc, Executive Chairman, Md. Abdur Rahman, Member (Engineering), AZM Azizur Rahman Member (Finance), Md Shawkat Nabi, Secretary, Nazma Binte Alamgir, General Manager (Public Relations) and Md Nurul Haque, General Manager (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA were present at the signing ceremony.
