The National Moon Sighting Committee will sit in a meeting today’s evening to review reports of moon sighting of the holy month of Safar of 1442 Hijri.
The meeting will be held at the Islamic Foundation’s Baitul Mukarram office at 7:00pm after Maghrib prayers, said a press release.
People are requested to report to the committee or the Deputy Commissioner or Upazila Nirbahi Officer of the respective districts over the following phone and fax numbers on sighting of the moon from any place of the country.
The telephone numbers are: 9555947, 9556407, 9558337 and 9559493 while the fax numbers are: 9563397 and 9555951.
