A month-long Islami Book Fair organized by Islamic Foundation (IF) has begun at the South Gate of the Baitul Mukarram Mosque in the city from Saturday on the occasion of holy Ramzan.Minister for Religion Alhaj Principal Matiur Rahman inaugurated the fair. Secretary for Religion Chowdhury Babul Hasan, Chief Information Officer Tachir Ahmed, Board of Governor of Islamic Foundation Alhaj Sheikh Md Abdullah, Director General of Islamic Foundation Shamim Mohammad Afzal and Principal of Dhaka Alia Madrasha Prof Sirajuddin Ahmed, among others, were present on the occasion.57 stalls of various Islami books have been set up in the fair. It will remain open for visitors from 10 am to 8 pm everyday and will be continued till July 28 next.
