A month-long income tax return and information service began on Monday in Chittagong with great enthusiasm.
Different tax-related services including e-TIN registration, receipt of the return, issuance of receipt, income tax return form, supply of invoice and citizen charter, income tax advice and information are being provided from the service point.
Income tax Commissioner of tax zone 4 S M Fazlul Hoque inaugurated the programme by cutting ribbons and releasing balloons at its office in the city’s Agrabad CDA residential area, reports BSS.
Tax Appellate Commissioner Manjuman Ara Begum, income tax Commissioners Sayed Md Abu Dawood and Additional Tax Commissioner Mahmudur Rahman, among others, addressed the function.
Speaking on the occasion, the speakers said that the tax offices provide service in filling and submitting return information smoothly. They hoped that the taxpayers will take their services in a proper manner.
