Banglar Mukh organised a musical soiree highlighting the monsoon songs at the National Museum Auditorium in the city’s Shahbagh area recently.
Popular singers Abida Sultana, Dalia Nawsheen, Sajed Akbar, Salma Akbar, Alam Dewan, Abu Bakar Siddique, Swikrity, among others, rendered songs in the musical soiree.
A large number of audiences were enthralled by the performances of the singers. The programme was dedicated to Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam.
Prof Dr Niranjan Adhikari, Prof Dr Soumitra Shekhar, Monoranjan Ghoshal and Bulbul Moholanobish were present as invited guests in the programme.
