Journalists Forum on Migration (JFM) has debuted on Saturday in Dhaka. Monir Hossain, Senior Reporter of Bangla daily Naya Diganta made President while Mithun Mahfuz, Senior Reporter of Bangla daily Amader Shomoy made General Secretary of the 21 members committee.
The committee for two years tenure of the organisation formed in Euro Asiano Restaurant in Ramna in the capital city.
The organisation will work on the problems and potentials of Bangladeshi migrates worldwide.
The committee also made Morsalin Babla (Channel I) and Haidar Ali (Kaler Kantho) Vice-President, Rabiul Haque (Manabkantho) Assistant-General Secretary, Sazzad Hossain (BSS) Organising Secretary, Aktar Hossain (RTV) Finance Secretary, Saidul Islam Sayeed (ETV) Publicity and Publication Secretary, Monjurul Islam (Bonik Barta) Office Secretary, Rakibul Haque (Alokito Bangladesh) Sports and Cultural Secretary and Manjur-A-Aziz (Amar Sangbad) Training and Research Secretary.
The other members are, Shamsul Islam (Inqilab), Jamal Uddin (Ittefaque), Shukkur Ali Shuvo (BSS), Razu Ahmed (Gazi TV), Rafiqul Isalm Azad (The Independent), Rafiq Majumdar (Jago News), Sakhawat Kawsar (Bangladesh Protidin), MM Badsha (SA TV), SM Mamun Hossain (Jaijai Din) and Reza Mahmud (The New Nation).
