Chittagong Bureau :
Md.Abdul Jalil Mondol has assumed charge of new commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police on Sunday .
After joining in his new assignment at CMP headquarters, he sought cooperation from the city dwellers to uphold the law and order in the city.Before joining his new assignment as Commissioner, he discharged the responsibilities of Additional police commissioner of DMP. Earlier also performed duties as Police Super of Bagerhat, Nilfamai and joypurhat district.
Mentionable that Mr. Mondol also worked in CMP as Additional Police Commissioner earlier, sources said.
