Mondira Chakraborty got many offers to work in the big screen in the beginning of her acting career. But due to disliking stories and characters, she didn’t agree to work in any movie. At last, her dream came into true. Mondira is going to play the title role in Gias Uddin Selim’s upcoming movie, ‘Kajol Rekha.’ Mondira herself confirmed the matter and also informed that she signed an agreement for working in the film. ‘Kajol Rekha’ will be made under government funds. Mondira is very much delighted and excited to play the role of ‘Kajol Rekha’ in the big screen.
While sharing her feelings in this regard she said, “I saw the dream which has come into true now. When ‘Monpura’ movie was released I went to cinema hall
to watch the movie. Monpura is still remaining in my mind. After starting work in media, I wanted to work under respected Selim Bhai’s direction. At last, my dream is going to fulfil. I am going to start my career in big screen with a good movie like ‘Kajol Rekha.’
It is not only for me but also for my family’s delighted
matter which I cannot express in a word. Specially my mother is very much delighted in this regard. In fact, she wanted I could start my journey in the big screen through a good movie. I think ‘Kajol Rekha’ is such a dream movie.”
Mondira also said that from April shooting of ‘Kajol Rekha’ will start. Shera Nachiye famed model and actress Mondira Chakraborty has been working in media since 2012. After waiting for a decade, her dream will come into true. Mondira informed that her parents Panna Lal Chakraborty and Shukla Chakraborty and two brothers Sourav and Abir are always inspiring and co-operating her for working in media. She first acted in Wahid Anam’s drama ‘Protijogita.’ Later, she also acted opposite Mosharraf Karim, Tahsan and Afran Nisho under different directors’ directorial dramas. She got appreciation for acting in Channel i’s serial ‘Shukno Patar Nupur,’ directed by Shahjada Mamun. She also came into discussion to perform as a model in a music video of Kazi Shuvo’s song ‘Kolonko,’ under Mahin Awlad’s direction.
