Shera Nachiye famed talented dancer model and TV actress of present
generation Mondira Chakraborty started shooting of her debut movie titled Kajol Rekha in April. During first phase, she took part in the shooting of the movie for 10 days
at a time. From May 15, she has been taking part in shooting of second phase of Kajol Rekha at Durgapur in Netrakona. According to Mondira, she will take part in the shooting till May 28 in Netrakona.
Mondira is playing the title role in this movie. She is acting opposite Shariful Razz, who is playing role of Such Kumar, in this movie. Mondira mentioned that earlier she got some offers to act in movie. At last, acting in Kajol Rekha, she started her acting career in the big screen. While asking about her feelings to act in movie for the first time, Mondira replied, “As I did not have any experience to act in any movie, so I was really feared about how I would do acting, perhaps I did acting what the director wanted from me in this movie. I also thought if I do any mistake I could hear any harsh remark from the director. But these didn’t happen in case of my acting in the movie. From the very beginning, I did my acting properly. From director to my co-artistes – everybody is co-operating me a lot during shooting. For this reason, I am doing my work comfortably. Full unit is working amid delightfully. As my debut movie, I am very much optimistic about Kajol Rekha. But everything depends on after releasing of the movie and responses from the viewers.”
Mondira informed that acting in this movie she had to remain busy with practicing her character for last one year. In the meantime, she also got offers to act in some movies. But she gave priority to Kajol Rekha. Giasuddin Selim is giving direction of Kajol Rekha.
Mondira also said that in Durgapur, now shooting of Kajol Rekha is going on under heat wave. Watching shooting many people are gathering on the shooting spot everyday. In the movie, Mondira gets Azad Abul Kalam, Eresh Zaker, Mithila, Shaon, among others as her co-artistes.
Since 2012, Shera Nachiye famed Mondira Chakraborty has been working in media. Her parents and two brothers always inspired Mondira to work in media.
Under Wahid Anam’s direction, Mondira first acted in a drama titled Protijogita. She came into discussion to perform as a model in music video of Kazi Shuvo rendered a song titled Kolonko under Mahin Awlad’s direction.
