As an actress and model, Sera Nachiye famed Mondira Chakroborty has been working in media professionally since 2012. But she had an attachment with dance when Mondira was only three years old. According to her, Mondira’s father Panna Lal Chakroborty, mother Shukla Chakroborty and two brothers Sourav and Abir always give her inspiration to work in media.
Basically Mondira made her expertise in Kathak dance. She received training from Shibli Mohammad. In 2012, Mondira became the second runner-up in the Sera Nachiye contest. Then she first acted in a drama titled Protijogita under Wahid Anam’s direction. She also got appreciation from the viewers to act against Mosharraf Karim, Tahsan, Afran Nisho, Shajal, among others in different dramas under the direction of different directors. Shukno Patar Nupur was Mondira acted her mentionable drama, which was aired on Channel i. She received huge appreciation from the viewers to act against Mosharraf Karim in this drama directed by Shahajada Mamun. Meanwhile, Mondira also performed as model in TVCs of Grameenphone, Bengal, RFL, Daraz, among others. Mondira informed that from September 1, she is going to launch her own YouTube channel. On that day, after covering Jamila Coca Cola under the choreography by Evan Mondira will release it on her YouTube channel.
Today is Mondira’s birthday. But she will remain outside Dhaka today. For this reason, yesterday she celebrated her birthday with her close ones. She has already got offer to work in several numbers of movies. She has also keen interest to work in big screen. While talking in this regard Mondira said, “Obviously I have interest to work in movie. I have already got some offers in this regard. But I yet not get that offer which I want to work. I will work in movie soon. Everybody prays for me and my family as we can remain well.”
