Mondira Chakroborty is a new sensation of present generation. Basically she has come into discussion to play the title role in Giasuddin Selim directed his upcoming movie ‘Kajol Rekha.’ By her participation in the shooting at Tanguar Haor in Sumanganj, Mondira has completed shooting of her part in this movie. The actress confirmed the news yesterday.
She also said that within this month rest part of the shooing will be completed and then shooting will be wrapped up. Then full team of ‘Kajol Rekha’ including Mondira will be waiting to get release date of the movie.
Meanwhile, with ‘Kajol Rekha’ Mondira has become optimistic. After working in this movie, her expectation about this movie has been increased. While sharing her feelings in this regard, Mondira told this correspondent, “After starting shooting of ‘Kajol Rekha,’ I knew from Selim Bhai that many talented and versatile actresses were in the list to play the role of ‘Kajol Rekha.’ At last, I was selected to play the role. Selim Bhai thought I could play the role perfectly. It really feels like a dream to me. In fact, I did not believe that I could get the opportunity to play the role like ‘Kajol Rekha’ in the movie. In real life, I am cool and quiet, which also represents the character of movie’s ‘Kajol Rekha.’ It is true that before taking part in the shooting of this movie, I was nervous. When I attended the rehearsal for the movie, my nervousness started to reduced. In the short time of my acting career, I have developed my acting skill by acting in this movie. It is a real satisfaction to me. I hundred percent believe that audience will enjoy the movie ‘Kajol Rekha.’ Now I am waiting when the movie gets release date. I don’t know when my waiting will come to end. I am waiting to get response from all including audience for acting in this movie. My father Panna Lal Chakroborty, mother Shukla Chakroborty, two brothers are always inspiring me for working in media.”
It is noted that Mondira Chakroborty has been working in media since 2012. Under Wahid Anam’s direction, she first acted in a drama titled ‘Protijogita.’ She came into limelight to perform as a model in Mahin Awlad directed music video of a song titled ‘Kolonko,’ which was rendered by Kazi Shuvo. Hanif Khan composed its lyrics and music.
