Popular model and actress Monalisa came to Dhaka from USA for few days. After returning country besides passing times with family and relatives, she also acted in three plays on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Azha. After finishing shooting of these plays, she is returning to USA on Saturday night’s flight.
Monalisa acted in Sumon Anwar’s play Jokhon Sobkichhu Theme Jai, Sanjoy Somaddar’s Ek Je Chhilo Maa and Shariful’s Lukiye Bhalobashbo Tarey. Afran Nisho, Irfan Sajjad and Shojol were her co-actors in these plays.
Monalisa did not want to back to USA leaving her motherland but she has to go. She is expecting to return soon. While talking in this regard Monalisa told this correspondent, “This time I am returning with having some memories. Life is really interesting. This time after returning country I had worked under some promising director’s directions. They worked so well. I have really worked in some good numbers. I was also impressed to watch viewers’ interest to enjoy movie Poramon-2. Everybody pray for me as I can work in good works in the long run.”
In last Eid, Monalisa created hype among the viewers to act in Mostafa Kamal Raz’s play Anubhobey. Therefore, her acting in Ashfaq Nipun’s Eid play Hoyto Tomar Kachhey Jabo also attracted all. Afran Nisho and Apurba were her co-actors in these two plays.
It is noted that Monalisa came to Dhaka on April 12. For the last two years she has been working as beauty advisor at world famous cosmetics and beauty products supplier multinational company, Sephora. Therefore, she also performs in different programmes in on the occasion of special days of Bangladesh.
