After winning the crown of Lux-Channel i Superstar Jakia Bari Momo started her acting career by Tauquir Ahmed’s movie Daruchini Dwip on August 31, 2007. She got the National Film Award to act in that movie. Momo has already passed one decade of her acting career.
During that time Momo could not understand the importance of getting the national award. But right now she can realize its significance. So when she takes the decision to work in any movie she keeps in mind that thing. Now she is acting in some movies. She wants to blend with challenging roles while acting in these movies. Alta is such a challenging role. She is acting in the leading role in Arun Chowdhury’s first movie Altabanu. Besides it, she is also finishing shooting of Tanim Rahman Angshu’s movie Swapnobari. Anisur Rahman Milon is acting with her in these two movies in role of hero.
While talking about her new movie Altabanu Momo told this correspondent, “It is that type of movie which will be easily enjoyed by the viewers. My role is very much challenging. Overall it is a good movie. Swapnobari is such a nice movie. I am very much optimistic about these two movies. I have tried my level best to portray my roles properly in these movies.”
“I am not a talented actress. But I can say that the directors who are making films and telefilms right now they are talented because they have the ability to make these within minimum budget. I have full respect on directors. I have also sympathy for them. It is really a challenge for them to make these works with such minimum budget. I cannot take this challenge. I give them salute,” Momo added.
While talking about her personal life Momo said, “I am very simple person, a full-fledged Bangalee in mind. I love to maintain my life like other simple persons’ everyday routine.”
