The government on Tuesday appointed Major General K.M. Mominur Rahman as Bangladesh’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, a foreign office statement said here.
Rahman was commissioned in Bangladesh Army in 1980 and ahead of his new diplomatic assignment on deputation, he served as the executive chairman of BEPZA, Quartermaster General in Army and general officer commanding of the Savar-based 9th Infantry Division.
