Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen on Thursday left Dhaka for two Balkan countries – Romania and Serbia- on a weeklong official visit.
The first destination of Dr Momen is Romania where he will hold a bilateral meeting with Romanian foreign minister Bogdan Aurescu, according to foreign ministry’s official source.
In Serbia, the foreign minister will attend a commemorative event marking the 60th anniversary of the first NAM conference in Belgrade.
Apart from attending the event, he will also hold a bilateral meeting with his Serbian counterpart Nikola Selakovic.
Dr Momen is scheduled to return home on October 14.
