A woman teacher has reportedly been killed by her eldest daughter with the help of lover.
The incident took place in West Dinajpur of West Bengal. Police recovered the dead body of the unfortunate woman from Pachpukur area of Goalpara in Raygonj on Saturday.
With the news being public, local people burst into fury. The two daughters were beaten by the local people. Police, however, recovered the two daughters from the hands of the mob. They are now under police custody.
The name of the late teacher is Kalpana Dey Sarker, a resident of Debinagar Debipuri of Rayganj. She was the headmaster of Purba College Para Primary School. Ranjit Ray, the husband of the headmistress, died 13 years ago. The headmistress was living with her two daughters.
According to a daily newspaper of West Bengal, Police recovered the dead body from 100 meter of the residence of the headmistress. Local people suspect the elder daughter whose name is Mona, a 1st year student of a college of Raygonj.
Mona was in love with a local young boy for one and half years. The boy was putting pressure on the girl for marriage. But Mona’s mother did not like the boy and did not agree to the marriage.
The dispute arose between the mother and the eldest daughter. Friends of the lover of the girl used to visit their house frequently. The slain teacher raised objection to their visit. So, on the advice of her boy friend, Monar killed her mother by beating.
After death, the dead body was put in a gunny bag carried by an auto-rickshaw and dropped beside the road by her lover. Finding the dead body on the roadside, local people got furious and brought the two daughters and beat them. Police are investigating as to whether younger daughter was involved with the killing.
Sumit Kumar, the Superintendent of Police of Raygong said, the dead body had been recovered. The two daughters are under interrogation.
