Afro-Asian Weightlifting Federation nominated Wing Commander (retd) Mohiuddin Ahmed as technical official to conduct the Afro-Asia weightlifting Championship scheduled to be held on September 2-8 in the Amman, Jordan.
Mohiuddin Ahmed will leave for Jordan tomorrow (Friday) morning and expected to return home on September 8 after performing his job in the championship.
Earlier, the experienced sports organiser conducted the weightlifting discipline as a nominated official by the Olympic World Weightlifting Federation which was recently concluded in Rio, Brazil, said a press release
