Chittagong City AL President and former Mayor A B M Mohiuddin Chowdhury and Chittagong city Mayor A J M Nasir Uddin, City AL Vice President Mahtab Uddin Chowdhury, Sabiha Musa MP, AL leader Khurshed Alam Sujan, CDA Chairman Abdus Salam and Advocate Iftakher Saimul among others attended the cake cutting ceremony of the 69th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Chatra L eague at chittgong central Shaheed Minar on Thursday .
Both former Mayor and the incumbent mayor embarrassed each others in the dais of the anniversary function and vows to work jointly sinking all internal feuds. Both the leader of city Awami League warned the Chhatra League activists to work with brotherly environment without any feuds each others for the better interest of the govt as well as the country.
They categorically cautioned the Chhatra League activists to sink differences among them and any defiance of their directives will be dealt with seriously, a sources said.
President of city Chhatra League unit Imran Ahmed Imu presided the cake cutting function duly conducted by its General Secretary Nurul Azim Roni, sources added.
