The hero famous of Chittagong and elderly politician, former mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowshury was flown to Dhaka by helicopter from Chittagong with critical health condition. He was taken to Dhaka by a helicopter from MA Aziz stadium helipad yesterday afternoon.
Sources said ailing Chowdhury has been admitted in Dhaka Square Hospital.
While flying towards Dhaka Square hospital in a Hospital helicopter at 3 pm, city Mayor and general secretary of city AL AJM Nasiruddin along with party leaders, workers, relatives and well-wishers were present at stadium helipad.
Family sources said Moshiuddin Chowdhury was earlier admitted in city city’s Max Hospital on Saturday at about 11 pm with critical condition and given treatment in ICU.
A doctor of the hospital told the media that he was attacked with mild heart attack and kidney complications and following the deterioration of his health from midnight at 3 pm on Saturday, attending physicians decided to sent him to Dhaka for better treatment.
Sources said, he may be flown to Chennai or Singapore if needed. Mohiuddin Chowdhury boarded in helicopter direct from Max hospital at about 2.30 pm, sources said.
