Hundreds of freedom fighters of bordering Moheshpur upazila on Saturday morning formed human chain and show their agitation in front of Moheshpur police station protesting attack on Freedom Fighter leader Abdus Satter. The agitating FFs paraded some important roads in the upazila head quarters during the time.
Ex commander of the Muktijoddha Sangshad Moheshpur upazila unit Abdul Malek Gazi, Kazi Abdus Satter, Mostafa Master, Abdur rahman, Deputy Commander Rabiul Islam, Mikail Hossain among others spoke during the human chain.
The speakers said, some Faruq Billah, his father Qamruzzaman and some others on September allegedly assaulted freedom fighter Abdus Satter. When the tortured filed case with the police station, they law enforcers arrested Faruq Billah.
But he was released on bail and threatening the freedom fighter for life. The freedom fighters also submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister Shaikh Hasina for stern action against the miscreants.
