A hat-trick by Rasel Mahmud Jimmi helped Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited to achieve an emphatic 8-2 victory over Wari Club in the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Sunday.
Apart from Jimmi, Salman Hossain and Tasvar Abbas of Mohammedan Sporting Club scored two goals each and their teammate Md Lalon netted one goal.
On the other hand, Obaid Hasan of Wari Club scored two goals.
In the day’s other match, Bangladesh Sporting Club smashed Railway Sporting Club by 8-1 goals at the same venue.
Shahbaz Ali and Prince of Bangladesh Sporting Club netted four goals each.
Saddam Hossain scored the consolation for the losers.
