Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited will take on Brothers Union Club Limited today in the final of the Airtel Under-18 Football Tournament at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. The match begins at 5.00 pm. BTV World will telecast the match live from the big bowl.
Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy, MP will be the chief guest of the final match.
The champions of the football tournament will be awarded Tk 50,000 while the runners-up will be given Tk 25,000.
Besides, the Player of the Final, the Player of the Tournament, The highest scorer of the meet and the best goalkeeper of the competition will get prizes respectively.
Australia’s Stosur, who hails from Brisbane, said she was looking forward to playing in front of her home crowd at the tournament.
Next season’s opening Grand Slam, the Australian Open, takes place in Melbourne from January 19 to February 1.
