Mohammad Toaha’s contribution recalled

The contributions of Mohammad Toaha, founder of Bangladesher Sammyabadi Dal, the people’s liberation movement of Bangladesh was recalled at a programme organized by his party in the capital on Friday.
Mostafa Jamal Haider, Chairman of Jatiya Party (Jamal) was Chief Guest at the function and called upon progressive political work to priorities national development to make their movement to establish the right of the common men.
The function was organized to observe the 34th death anniversary of the late leader.
Presided over by Dr. Nurul Islam General Secretary of Sammyabadi Dal, the function was also addressed by Dr. Mustafizur Rahman Iran, Chairman of Bangladesh Labour Party,
The function was also addressed by Mostafa Kamal Majumder, Editor In-Charge, The New Nation.
The speakers paid tribute for his commitment to the rights to poor people and oppressed people of Bangladesh.
They said, he acknowledged the mistake of struggle against class enemies before a national development and explained why he comeback to open politics by discarding underground politics.
They said the successful leftists of the present time did movement more on the basis of day to day people’s issues rather than ideological purity.
