Mohammad Shams-Ul Islam, Managing Director of Agrani Bank Limited, receiving the “Bangladesh Bank Remittance Award -2016” from State Minister for Finance and Planning M A Mannan, MP, at a city auditorium on Tuesday. The bank is honored as the Highest Remittance Collecting Bank among the State Owned Commercial Banks in Bangladesh for the last year. Bangladesh Bank Governor Fazle Kabir, Md Younusur Rahman, Senior Secretary of Bank and Finance Division and Dr. Namita Halder, Secretary (CC), Ministry of Expatriates and Welfare Overseas Employment were present.
