Pacer Mohammad Shahid has targeted to claim 30 wickets in AKS Bangladesh Premier league (BPL) Twenty20 Cricket. Shahid is playing for Dhaka Dynamites. He captured 14 wickets from seven matches with an awesome average of 12.92. He took the second spot in the top bowlers’ list of ongoing 4th edition of BPL. Mohammad Nabi of Afghanistan who played for Chittagong Vikings took the top spot with 14 wickets playing eight matches. He has better average of bowling than Mohammad Shahid.
After the training session at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Thursday Mohammad Shahid said, ” My target is to claim 30 wickets. Hoping that I shall earn it.”
Shahid said, ” I want to give contribution for the victory of my team as a bowler. There are a good number of bowlers of our team. I am attentive to perform well in the upcoming matches.”
Mohammad Shahid could not play for Bangladesh in the recently concluded two-Test England series due to injury. He is now okay.
He said, ” I feel well as I am performing a big tournament of Bangladesh. We shall come out from our previous mistakes.”
