At the time when angst against Pakistan is at the peak after the Uri attack, which martyred 18 Indian soldiers, and injured several others; India is chalking out its strategy to give it back to Pakistan in the strongest way possible.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent 2 hours in the War Room, in the South Block for the same.
PM Modi was briefed about various terror locations in Pakistan. Along with Modi, NSA Ajit Doval, Army Chief Dalbir Suhag, Airforce Chief Arun Raha, Naval Chief Sunil Lamba were also present.
A power point presentation and clay models of Pakistan’s terror zones were presented in front of PM. Also, details about how these terror modules could be busted were discussed.
As expected, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday majorly raised the Kashmir issue at the UN General Assembly, saying that Pakistan fully supports Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and demanded an “independent enquiry” into the “extrajudicial killings” in Kashmir.
Sharif said that Hizbul militant Burhan Wani, whose killing on July 8 sparked off the current unrest in the Kashmir valley, had become “the symbol of the new Kashmiri intifada that was led by common Kashmiris”.
He also spoke of “Indian brutalities” and “human rights violations by Indian forces” in the Kashmir valley, and said Pakistan would present a dossier on Kashmir to the world body.
