Modern museums to be set up: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday said a natural historical museum and another most modern museum would be built in the country.
The Prime Minister said this when a four-member delegation of Bangladesh National Museum, led by Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, met her at her office in the morning.
PM’s Special Assistant Mahbubul Hoque Shakil said Sheikh Hasina also gave directives to the Ministry of Cultural Affairs to take quick steps to this end.
At the function, Director General of Bangladesh National Museum Qamrun
Nahar Khanom handed over the annual report of the National Museum for 2012-13 and other publications to the Prime Minister.
Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office Md Abul Kalam Azad, Cultural Affairs Secretary Dr Ranjit Kumar Biswas, Chairman of Board of Trustees of National Museum M Azizur Rahman and PM’s Special Assistant Mahbubul Hoque Shakil were present.
Earlier, Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of Bangladesh Masud Ahmed submitted their 17 audit reports to the Prime Minister at her office.
