Maria Mumu, the founder and president of Moshal Mental Health, has bagged
the highest accolade for social action or humanitarian efforts – The Diana Award, at the age of 20. The prestigious award is given in memory of Diana, the princess of Wales, to young people with a vision to change the world for the better. Mumu, who became
a familiar name after earning the 4th place in the 2019 Miss Universe Bangladesh, is the first mental health advocate from Bangladesh to achieve the accolade.
