The operation of mobile court by the executive magistrate will continue until settlement of three appeals filed by the government against the HC verdict over the mobile court act.
A five-member bench of the Appellate Division led by acting Chief Justice Abdul Wahhab Miah came up with the order on Tuesday. Besides, the court fixed January 16 for next hearing.
On January 3 last, the SC fixed on Tuesday
for hearing of the appeals.
On May 11, the High Court declared illegal of the operation of mobile court by the executive magistrate and later on May 14 after hearing on a government appeal the chamber judge stayed until May 18.
Later, the SC extended the time for several times.
