Deputy Cmmissioner of Chittagong Mesbahuddin said no unauthorized cattle market will be allowed in the city and elsewhere in the district ahead of Eidul azha. Mobile court will evict such cattle markets from the highwaway, roads either in city or in upazila sadars .
Besides, mobile court , respective UNOs will take actions against the unauthorized cattle markets. Mesbahuddin was addressing the monthly law and order coordination meeting held at district administration conference hall as chief guest. He said two mobile team will work in the city and upazila sadars upto Mirsarai and Lohagara .
Govt drugs recovered from market
Mobile court of Chittagong district administration recovered huge quantities of govt drugs and contraband foreign medicines from drug wholesale market – Hazari lane in Chittagong on Thursday evening.
The mobile accompanied by DB police and thana police which conducted from 3 pm . during the raid, govt medicines filled in 2f0 cartoons and 6 bags were recovered from a drug shop and case lodged against the shop owner.
In another two shops, contraband foreign drugs also recovered and convicted them with cash penalty of Tk.20 thousand each, sources said.
Executive Magistrate Sabbir Rahman Sani conducted the mobile court, sources added.
