A mobile court on Tuesday has fined owner of a food producing factory at Kadamtali in the capital for making chips with unhygienic and toxic materials.
The court found owner of DR Food Products Delwar Hossain guilty of producing the chips with the ingredients which are detrimental to the health of the people, especially children.
Executive Magistrate Rafiqul Haque of the mobile court raided various shops at Khorshed Ali Road in Kadamtali and found serious fault with the DR Food Products. The court fined Tk 1.5 lakh to the owner of the shop.
