A mobile court of Chittagong District Administration (CDA) yesterday sentenced a drug addict to two months’ imprisonment at city’s Bakalia area.
Executive magistrate of Chittagong district administration Shahdat Hossain awarded the sentence to Sohel Dey,32, son of Halldhar Dey hailing from Satkania upazila of the district.
Sohel was arrested with three liters of country made liquor from Shah Amanat bridge area under city’s Bakalia thana at 10am today and was handed over to the mobile court, said Mohammad Mohsin, Officer-in-charge (OC) of the thana.
