A mob beat a youth to death on suspicion of stealing a mobile phone in Padua village under Lohagara upazila of Chittagong on Thursday.
Police said some brick kiln workers at Fariadir Kul beat Md Mohiuddin, 26, of Padua village to death suspecting him of stealing a mobile phone.

Police said some brick kiln workers at Fariadir Kul beat Md Mohiuddin, 26, of Padua village to death suspecting him of stealing a mobile phone.
Police detained 14 workers in this connection and sent the body to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
