Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity (MJSKS) has distributed foods to the 1655 households due to the Covid-19 pandemic at Chilmari and Ulipur upazila in Kurigram district under the project ‘Covid19 Community Support-MJSKS response.’
The project is funded by the Kadoorie Charitable Foundation (KCF) Hong Kong. Each household has received 25 kgs of rice, 4 kgs of lentils, 2 kgs of iodized salt, 8 kgs of potato, 2 kgs of onion, 2 liters of soya bean oil and 2 bathing soap.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Rezaul Karim, Ulipur upazila parishad Chairman Md Golam Hosen Montu, Chilmari Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Mahbubur Rahman, Assistant Commissioner (land) Bipul Kumar and MJSKS director Md Ashraful Alam Rasel, among others, were present.
